Denise Ginsburg, PRYT The following are a
few examples of techniques I have used in a
corporate office for stress reduction, mindfulness,
and yoga programs. All of these programs can be
customized for your company. The most successful
workshops with specific lasting changes occur if you
choose to have one session per week for four weeks.
In only one session, it may spark ideas for your
employee to further question the possibility of
changes to improve their overall wellbeing.
• Managing Stress to Optimize Energy: This
program teaches techniques and exercises to help
participants better manage stress and shares
practical ways to incorporate stress management
techniques in every day settings such as the office,
commuting, air travel, and the home.
• How to Use Yoga to Improve Your Life: This
program is an overview of yoga that provides
insights regarding how yoga can be applied to modern
day life to balance oneself mentally, emotionally,
physically, and spiritually.
• Leveraging the Mind/Body Connection: Grounded
in basic human anatomy, this program offers wisdom
and practical tips to manage and leverage the
intrinsic connection of mind and body, so that we
can control and channel our energies rather than
have events and other external forces control our
destiny.
• Energy with the Power of Breath: This program
teaches powerful, simple, effective breathing
techniques that enliven and rejuvenate our bodies.
You will learn how each of us has the ability to tap
into vast energy resources when you need an extra
boost to finish key tasks, make a critical
presentation or overcome an obstacle. Clear examples
are provided that illustrate the relationship
between the breath and spirit and demonstrates her
techniques using the power of breath to reach new
heights.
• Mastering the Power of Meditation: Meditation
is a proven method used to gain clarity of mind,
increase awareness, efficiency, and resolve
difficult problems. Learn how to meditate to release
stress, fatigue, and gain personal insights.
• Soothing Corporate Stress: This program
includes three on-site seminars such as managing
stress to optimize energy, mastering the power of
meditation and understanding and leveraging the
mind/body connection.
Mindful Living and Stress Reduction for Attorneys
offers participants a conceptual basis of specific
techniques to incorporate into their lifestyle, and
more importantly, incorporating specific changes in
their lifestyle to provide a balanced life. By
applying these teachings to our professional
interactions with clients, staff, and other
pertinent parties, we can modulate our stress levels
through understanding, acceptance, and right action.
Our work becomes a manifestation of our personal
values, and our personal values transform in ways
that benefit us and the people in our lives. We will
begin to live life that is more balanced with more
happiness and contentment that is truer to our
nature. Please read additional information.
Additional Information: The legal profession has
found great use for mindfulness practice. Harvard
Law School’s Program on Negotiation sponsored the
seminar “Mindfulness in the Law and Alternative
Dispute Resolution” in 2002 in response to Professor
Leonard Riskin’s influential paper “The
Contemplative Lawyer” published in the Harvard
Negotiation Law Review. Mindfulness programs have
been taught to students, professors of Harvard,
Yale, Stanford and Columbia Law Schools, Boalt Hall
of UC Berkeley, the University of Missouri-Columbia,
and Pepperdine University as well as practicing
lawyers and judges around the nation.
